On July 1, 2023, Bloomfield College officially became part of ΞΆΓάΘ¦ State University!<\/p>\n
For Bloomfield students, the merger means lower tuition and fees and expanded student life and academic opportunities. As part of ΞΆΓάΘ¦, Bloomfield College will continue to provide a transformative educational experience in a small, supportive setting with the resources of a doctoral research university.<\/p>\n
Below you will find answers to frequently asked admissions questions related to the merger. You can also learn more about this historic merger here.<\/a><\/p>\nProspective Students<\/h2>\n

\n<\/strong>No, you can only apply to one location. Each location offers a distinct experience. Sign up for a telecounseling appointment so an admissions counselor can help you figure out which is the best fit for you.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>You will see a question asking which location you wish to study at, and that is where you will select Bloomfield or ΞΆΓάΘ¦. Once you choose your location, the majors available will be shown to you.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>We are happy to change your application information for you. Send us a note at msuadm@montclair.edu. Make sure to provide us your full name and date of birth so we can find your application. If you have already been admitted to one location, you may have to be re-reviewed for admission to the other location.<\/li>\n
\n<\/strong>Students can apply as an internal transfer between locations based on their major\u2019s requirements. More information about taking classes between locations will be available soon.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nFor Counselors<\/h2>\n

\n<\/strong>Students studying at Bloomfield College of ΞΆΓάΘ¦ State University still receive the close knit community of a small liberal arts college, but with the low tuition, resources and support ΞΆΓάΘ¦ is known for providing our students. Students entering 2024 and beyond will graduate with a ΞΆΓάΘ¦ State University degree.For students applying beginning Spring 2024, there is one combined application – both on the Common App<\/a> and through apply.montclair.edu\/portal\/admissions<\/a>.<\/li>\n
